Missing Items in Controversy Section?

[edit]

Hi, is there a particular reason that despite for example a wikipedia page descriptively titled as a 2008 election controversy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Ayers_2008_presidential_election_controversy) is not listed in the "Controversies" section? It seems logical to include if it merits its own wiki page, I would think. 38.70.255.205 (talk) 08:47, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The article states “Until 2024 this was also the most recent election in which any of the major presidential nominees had any military experience.” The reference links to JD Vance’s military experience. Does JD Vance count as a “presidential nominee” if he is a vice-presidential nominee? I think either (1) the sentence should be erased or (2) should clarify presidential and vice-presidential nominee. Mixupblitz (talk) 03:54, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
