    This page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions or to address the pending deletion of any page.
    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here).

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Fred Waterfield[edit]

    I had an earlier version of this. It may have just been a redirect though? Also, I uploaded the picture at David Alan Gore in 2014 but the article was created in 2015 so there should be an earlier version of the Gore article somewhere too, either at David Alan Gore or at David Alan Gore and Fred Waterfield.     @UtherSRG: Thanks UtherSRG, do you mind taking a look at David Alan Gore & David Alan Gore and Fred Waterfield to see if there are any earlier versions of those? I uploaded Gore's picture in 2014 but the current version of the article was only created in 2015.     WikiOriginal-9, you put an infobox for Gore (with the picture) in your sandbox in April 2014, but it doesn't seem to have ever made it to mainspace.     Category:Fictional illeists[edit]

    Deleted via non-admin closure at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2023_December_19#Category:Fictional_illeists after a single vote for "Delete". This characteristic is defining enough for fictional characters to be covered by and discussed in reliable sources, and there's a body of scientific research on the various contexts and psychological meaning of illeism (see the main article Illeism; also, the consensus for Category:Illeists was "keep"). —HPfan4 (talk) 15:06, 21 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    Serenity Cox[edit]

    This was a page that was deleted several months ago. However since original publication (and deletion) the subject matter has become more notable (and at the time it was a 50/50 split on the voting for deletion anyways). I just updated the page with more movies and articles about exclusive signing to major label and it was instantly deleted under speedy deletion from some one who didn't take the time to review the article.

    Con of the North[edit]

    I am a current administrator of the convention and we (our committee) are hoping to get the wiki page back up and running. We are expanding our convention and also moving to a new location soon and we would love to update our page to let people know more about the history of the convention. I am not sure why it was originally deleted. I have been trying to look at/understand the wiki history of why it was deleted, something about it being to local? We have been a established for over 30 years and we are an all volunteer run convention, we are a not-for-profit 501 (c)(7) organization. We do have people come in from out of state for our convention, so we are not just a "local only" convention.     @OwenX I am planning to improve the sourcing beyond what I presented at the AfD, that's the entire point of this undeletion request and what I stated in the original post. I would like to add these new sources to the Draft or Userspace article over the coming weeks and months, as I find them. I don't particularly disagree with the AfD outcome, which is why I did't bring this to DRV. Deleting it is fine and I'm not contesting the deletion. I don't find pinging non-admin user Frank Anchor and hoping he approves my sources to be a particularly compelling resolution, or rooted in policy, as he is clearly far on the side of deletion and has already out of hand suggested five good sources about the trophy are merely routine coverage. He has also been so far too myopic about the notability of the *rivalry* and not of the notability of the trophy itself. Restoration of a userspace draft is a fine compromise here, and I will ping both of you when I have added enough new significant coverage to bring it back to mainspace.
