X-Planes

[edit]

Hi Rapier Shade - thanks for doing your bit to help complete Wikipedia's coverage of the X-Planes. The format that you've used for your articles is an out-of-date one, however. You can find the new standard format at Wikipedia:WikiProject Aircraft/page content. This has been in use since last August, but we're still weeding out all the old versions scattered through the 'pedia. I'd be a real help if you could use this layout for your next aircraft articles. Please keep up the good work! Cheers --Rlandmann 01:23, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Rapier Shade,

I have edited your X-26 Frigate article.

Although already excellent, I have added some new material from personal experience. I hope that I've done the "right thing"!

Please see our websites for more X-26 information and art: quietaircraft.org, prizecrew.org, and YO-3A.com.

I tried to change the title of your article or add a X-26 Aircraft Article, but probably failed.

Reason: The X-26 Program included our Quiet Thruster X-26B Aircraft. Little known, they were the first "Stealth" Aircraft.

You are welcome to contact/ID me and other Quiet Aircraft folks through our websites. I was a member of the '67-'68 QT and '69-'71 YO-3A Teams.

Please consider changing the article title to "X-26 Aircraft" to include us.

Jay Miller's X-Planes and the USNTPS Pax. R. Museum organization can provide additional X-26 info.

A tag has been placed on International Fantasy Games Society requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. — dαlus Contribs /Improve 07:53, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article International Fantasy Gaming Society has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article has had zero reliable third-party sources showing any notability since 2005; article fails WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
