Good question, I once listed Alps and the rest of the series for Cleanup. I think the list of peaks and passes are somewhat usefull, even if updating them takes just as much time as building them from the beginning (I did this for some of the Swiss ones.)

Things I found usefull to do with the lists of peaks and passes:

  1. update/correct names (there are typos, old spellings, translations that may not be used anymore (glen instead of valley).
  2. format the tables in an way they are easier to edit (e.g. if the two colums are not all in one row)
  3. wikify the peaks that are likely to get articles
  4. wikify the names of the passes likely to get are artilces, such as those with roads in 1900.
  5. wikify the names of the places the passes connect
