No linkage to Ronald Reagan? Who's been sleeping? - Sparky

Reliable sources?

[edit]

The additional reading section of this article points to a book apparently published by a vanity press. Is this appropriate? The external links section also had a link to the author's personal web site, which I removed. PubliusFL (talk) 00:51, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Beautiful Bad Girl was first published in hardback by Santa Barbara Press, in 1985, which was not at all a vanity press. The book went out of print and was later put back in print through the Author's Guild and its Back in Print program they co-ventured with iUniverse. Additionally, Beautiful Bad Girl came out through Books on Tape and was distributed for twelve years. You can find copies of the Books On Tape addition on Alibris, and you can find copies of the original hardback on various used book sites. The harcover, among other places is listed on Amazon, minus a photo of the cover. For what it's worth, I may well have coined the phrase "Beautiful Bad Girl," having published the title in 1985. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ga bass (talkcontribs) 22:52, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I should note that I was the only one to interview Vicki Morgan, and did so for nine months, as she helped to write this book.Ga bass (talk) 00:03, 2 December 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ga bass (talkcontribs) 23:21, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article issues

[edit]

Is this woman actually notable enough for an article? If so, additional reliable sources need to be added to demonstrate it, and the article needs to be improved. If it was about a living person, I would have proposed it for deletion on sight for violating WP:BLP, containing various poorly-sourced allegations against living people. As it is, I've removed some of the non-neutral language, but it still urgently needs improvement to read more like an encyclopaedia article and less like a gossip column. The whole article is written in emotional tabloid-style language, and the timeline jumps about all over the place, it's hard to follow. But the facts are there. 203.27.141.68 (talk) 23:38, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
