Arlöv is an early industrialized town dominated by multi-storey apartment buildings, until recently with a clear working class character, now increasingly struck by unemployment and concentration of immigrants. Åkarp and Burlövs egnahem, consisting of detached house districts, have more of a clearly suburban character from where people commute to commercial centres and work within the metropolitan area of South-Western Scania.

When was this population decrease?

The text says: "The population of Burlöv Municipality has increased with almost 1,000 people between 1986 and 2003, but it decreased last year." What year is referred to as "last year"? Mr. Atom Scania (talk) 20:40, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
