[edit]

This redirect page does not take into account the fact that there was another "Columbine Massacre" which, for 72 years, was THE Columbine Massacre. We've taken to calling it the Columbine Mine Massacre out of deference to the more immediate Columbine High School massacre.

There is a disambiguation page for "Columbine". I suggest that we also need a disambiguation page for "Columbine Massacre".

I don't want to make this change without some discussion.

I attempted to add links to this redirect page for anyone who backtracks searching for other "Columbine Massacre" pages, but apparently additional code is automatically deleted from a redirect page.

Input on this proposed change is invited. User:Richard Myers

Please, be honest. This redirect was created for no other reason than to draw attention to your article.65.12.43.152 (talk) 03:31, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That was a completely unnecessary comment. We should discuss the edit, not the editor. Unfortunately, I think this dab is also completely unnecessary. Obviously, the high school shooting is the target of > 95% of users who type 'columbine massacre'. There should instead be a 'for the 1927 blah blah see blah' at the top of the high school massacre topic. I'll do that when I get home from work.Eaglizard (talk) 20:55, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
