Hi

[edit]

Hi Dorit, yes I'm well. I hope you are too.

I hope you enjoy reading about Ireland, I'm doing my best to improve the articles on modern Irish history right now. It is not always an easy task as people tend to disagree about things, as I'm sure you can imagine!

Feel free to contact me if you like, about Irish topics or anything at all, but I'm not sure my email address is working right now. Still, give it a try if you want.

All the best,

Jdorney 23:14, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have no idea how much I know about "people tend to disagree". I have translate some articles already and still continue my "Irish project". If I'll have troubles, I will e-mail you. Thank you for your willing to help! Dorit 23:20, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Christmas

[edit]

Hey Dorit, how are you doing? Greetings of the season ;)

Jdorney 16:33, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I am well, and you? I have been watching over your last edits few days ago. It's gave me the idea to translate Kingsmill massacre, unless you have a better idea. Maybe something about holiday season? Happy new year! Dorit 19:35, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Dorit, you might prefer something more cheerful?? I end up editing all these articles on appalling violence for some reason, I don't know know why. Mainly its because I think that other people have written such rubbish. Have a look at the Newgrange article. It is a prehistoric tomb in county Meath, constructed so that on just one day of the year (yesterday, the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year) the sun shines into the centre of the tomb. Anyway, take care of yourself.

Good ideas. and yes, More cheerful is needed. I think some wikipedian are afraid since I have tendency to translate articles full with blood and tears when it's come to Ireland. But it is very interesting project that I really like. And you have a part in this, since you have been a great help. Also, things are alright here, I hope that everything is well with you too. Happy christmas and a wonderful new year! Dorit 14:48, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again!
