Punctuation

[edit]

I believe that the band is punctuated as "The 5.6.7.8's"

Can anyone else confirm/change this?

Yes, I've always seen it punctuated as you say it is, and the 'allmusic' website lists it as that. It's also like that on their 'Bomb The Twist' album - look at it on allmusic.com. The page needs moving! Dragonfly888 00:48, 6 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Why have they got the rogue apostrophe in their name? Lugnuts (talk) 18:07, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's not rogue. Plurals of numeric numbers get an apostrophe, like 3's and 4's and the B-52's. 50.46.9.120 (talk) 22:20, 11 July 2024 (UTC)dude[reply]

If you do 5.6.7.8's, you'll get about 250,000+ entries. In cases with tricky names, try enclosing in quotes"5.6.7.8's". Interlingua talk email 00:43, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese script

[edit]

"The 5.6.7.8's" is an official name. I think that Japanese script is unnecessary in lead text of this article. (If I write it, it will be "ザ・ファイブ・シックス・セブン・エイツ".) --Nightshadow28 18:24, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I followed the policy of other article. --Nightshadow28 15:05, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
