Somewhere in latin studies,I remember seeing a rule that when two nouns which are not declined are placed together it indicates equivalence as if they had the word 'is' seperating them. This will mean the translation will be 'The Christ is The Lord. --RonaldCurtis--

The official Vatican translation linked to at the bottom of the article has it as "Christ the Lord", and they'd know if anyone did. —Paul A 06:05, 20 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Controversy about collegiality

[edit]

Two sections of this article, "Preliminary Note" and "Controversy", discuss controversy about the doctrine of the collegiality of bishops. This doctrine was set out in "Lumen gentium", the constitution on the Church, and not in "Christus Dominus", the object of the current article. Therefore, the two sections I've referred to do not belong in this article about "Christus Dominus". I will leave this note for a month, after which, if no objection is raised, I will delete the two sections in question. MDJH (talk) 14:54, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
