Is this the same as the "Northumbrian smallpipe"? If they're the same thing, perhaps a redirect should be added. -- Ortonmc


Aaargh, yes and no. Historically, there were four types of Northumbrian bagpipe, and so ideally there should be an article on Northumbrian bagpipes in general and a specific article on Northumbrian smallpipes. OTOH, these others are so obscure that it's maybe not worth doing seperate pages - in which case, I would move the smallpipes page here and redirect that page rather than this. -- Calum
