Infobox pic?

[edit]

What is the infobox pic showing? I lived in Rogers in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and the part of Rogers shown is after my time. Would definitely help to indicate just what I'm looking at here, and there is neither a caption for the image, nor a description on the image page. However, by the looks of it, it looks like a fairly generic shopping center. Wouldn't showing the downtown area, such as a view of the brick section of Walnut Street or along First Street, or even the caboose display be more appropriate for a lead pic? I recognize the photo you are talking about - it is a view from the Pinnacle Hills Promenade south of town in Rogers, and I do believe it was built after you left. I will see if we can improve on this.--Traveler7 (talk) 16:36, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Arkansas Assessment

[edit]

Upgraded WikiProject Arkansas to Mid importance as Rogers, AR fits the criteria. C class on assessment, we still have a lot of work to do on this one, and Low Importance for WP Cities because of population. --Traveler7 (talk) 16:19, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"The City"?

[edit]

Is there any reason for a nickname used by high school students to appear in the article at all, much less in the intro? —C.Fred (talk) 21:12, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Rogers Morning Newspaper this morning announced a nickname as "The City" anyone who does not want the addition added please respond here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaloevera (talkcontribs) 21:21, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
What authority does the local paper have to declare a nickname for Rogers? If the nickname is in common, widespread use, then it might warrant inclusion in the article. —C.Fred (talk) 21:23, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
