Article requests : Please fill in or correct the conjectural date ("19xx, etc") on the chapter list. Second, an additional, freely-licensed graphic would add reader interest. Third, the already-cited Baird's Manual Online Archive shows a number of names of the original local chapters that would go on to become Phi Kappa Theta chapters. It would be interest to add reference notes, naming these and providing their dates of establishment.
Infobox : The infobox may still be incomplete. The template used for this entry, where you can see all available fields (--these things: "| = text") is the fraternity-specific infobox. This, and other useful items are linked on the Fraternities and Sororities Project page.
Maintain : Set a calendar reminder to update the chapter list and otherwise check the article for necessary updates, annually.
Update : If calling out specific chapters in the body text, italicize the name of the chapter. Wikipedia practice within the F&S Project is that the word "chapter" is not capitalized, while the name of the chapter is.
Wikify : Add relevant, public symbolism to the infobox. List the group's print publication in the infobox, italicized. Occasionally, confirm the physical address (including the ZIP code field) and website. Occasinoally, confirm the number of chapters and number of lifetime members. Add a Symbolism and traditions section. The linked chapter list appear complete, but should be checked for any missing chapters and missing dates. Indicate if a chapter is active by bolding its name, or if inactive by using italics. A table will allow room where chapter references may point to portal pages, and allow comments on where a chapter came from, interesting facts or its outcome. The way you've set out the list of notable members is nicely crafted, but a table may be even better. You should add a post on the talk page, linked to it from the editing space near the list, of these Inclusion Rules to help avoid vanity listings.
No. Not at all. In fact, I listed them anticipating that chapter members would do just that. Hopefully all chapters will eventually be linked to their respective websites. Thanks for asking. Trojanpony09:52, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, responding to these comments from 15 years ago. Our practice has evolved here on Wikipedia to avoid linking directly to chapter website. Too often, these go dormant or are vectors for viruses. University portal pages are better, and less subject to malware code. Jax MN (talk) 22:41, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Given the explosion in this section, we need to come up with reliable sources for each one's status. I don't want to yank them all back down en masse, and I don't want to slap an {{unreferenced}} tag on the section, either. Please help me go looking for sources before another editor does, though. —C.Fred (talk) 16:54, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
