Areas of interest

[edit]

At this point my main interests on Wikipedia are the pages related to Jehovah's Witnesses.

Disclosure of bias

[edit]

I was an active Jehovah's Witness from birth until age 21. I co-administered the JWZone discussion board, and wrote many posts defending Jehovah's Witnesses from critics on witnesses.net. (Both sites are now defunct.)

Over the course of a year, I had a rather drastic change in viewpoint. I left the Witnesses in 2003, and am now an atheist. I fully support the right of Witnesses to practice their religion freely, but I also believe that their teachings are harmful to the physical, mental and emotional well-being of their adherents and those related to them.

I invite you to sign in as a participant to the new Wikipedia:WikiProject Jehovah's Witnesses project and add that page to your watchlist. Tom Haws 21:04, Feb 1, 2005 (UTC)
