I changed "a little bit famous" to "a modicum of success." This is because it sounds, like, better. Paul 23:48, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I have to disagree. While "a little bit famous" is rather poorly constructed, I believe "modicum" has a negative connotation. (As is, keep a modicum of self-control in the courtroom, a minimal amount.) It would be best if the original author indicated exactly what he meant by this sentence. As it stands, it serves no purpose other than as a placeholder for the names of the two gentlemen, and would require citation. If anything, I would remove it altogether and replace it with something more informational.70.54.255.66 16:41, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added some content, and re-organized the article by adding a second section. I also added a nice colour photo. --Vyrus724 23:55, 3 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Just want to thank the writer for credit Canada. The Canadian-produced Trivial Pursuit, shockingly, gives credit to India as being third... I'd only add, from what I've heard, Alouette cost only C$3million. TrekphilerCanada 23:57, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Switched off? Why?

[edit]

The article doesn't make it clear why it was switched off. It's not as if it were wasting electricity. JDS2005 (talk) 04:58, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Great start to this article, however it would be most helpful if we could move towards inline citations instead of a list of external links. Anyone familiar enough with the subject to help ? //Blaxthos ( t / c ) 21:27, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Alouette 1. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Clean-up

[edit]

I did some polishing since this clearly wasn't Start anymore and was close to B. I hate the current citations format, but that can be fixed later. Anyway, it's a little messy behind the scenes but now a serviceable article. --Neopeius (talk) 08:23, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
