Thanks for taking off the photos as possible copyvios, SPUI. With all the copyvios I tag and bag, it's kind of embarassing to pull the same stunt myself (blush). If anyone has original or fair-use photos of the freeway section, please feel free to post them. - Lucky 6.9 21:15, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)

It's not a photo, but I've added a map. --SPUI (talk) 21:48, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)

  • Lookin' good! I tell you , I couldn't get those damned photos to line up properly to save my life. Much, much better. Thanks for helping! - Lucky 6.9 03:19, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Origin of the name

[edit]

Would someone look into the origin of the naming of the boulevard "La Cienega"? It would seem to me that it must have something to do with the fact that there must be old tar pits along that route, because still today (or at least back in December of '1) there were visible oil wells, some still working, a long the street. By the way if you are visiting the area, and staying in the North Holywood area, it's just about the fastest way to get to the airport. In fact, it was definitely the best road for traffic conditions we encountered our entire stay. Why merge Laurel Canyon Freeway here? ·:· Will Beback ·:· 05:41, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I also see no reason to merge Laurel Canyon Freeway here. It appears to a a freeway which was only planned, but never built. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Minnaert (talkcontribs) 15:35, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
