Picture?

[edit]

Maybe someone should put a picture of a flushed face, like in the blush section? 98.14.15.12 (talk) 21:37, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

swelling picture

[edit]

I removed the picture previously on this page. It was of swelling, not flushing. I don't think it was vandalism, but just a misunderstanding of the term. For reference, the removed picture is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:MyParonychia.jpg, and is currently featured prominently on the swelling article. Interestingly, the picture lasted for over a year on this page without anyone removing it. /c: — Eric Herboso 06:21, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Advice

[edit]

I personally get severely flushed when embaraessed, angry, anxious, during excersize and if the blood rushes to my head. I'm only fourteen years old and it's been happneing once to twice a day. I'd like some advice as to what to do? I can't seem to speak up in class anymore, I can't go to my dance classes etc. Is this just temporary or is it long-lasting? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.45.157.117 (talk) 08:51, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"red" in different skin colors

[edit]

It seems to me the page assumes white skin. If not, I would expect to see some discussion of how "red" in the face looks on darker skin tones that wouldn't necessarily look red or pink in the white-skin way. Does it get darker or change hue toward the reddish? Are there variations depending on the shade before flushing? 73.222.208.252 (talk) 08:40, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
