Contradiction

[edit]

The infobox says there are 7 provinces and 51 districts, but the article says 8 provinces and 53 districts. Which is correct? XinaNicole (talk) 16:12, 11 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistent with other pages

[edit]

Peru's administrative divisions changed from being called "departments" to "regions" in 2002, as stated in the page on the Administrative divisions of Peru.

Therefore this page's title should be changed from "Department of Loreto" to "Loreto Region" (as listed under List_of_regions_of_Peru_by_GDP, among others). Furthermore, Loreto Region currently redirects to Department of Loreto and it should work in the opposite direction.

Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IntiTru (talkcontribs) 11:16, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
