Beneath a Steel Sky

[edit]

Just wondering if I could get your reasonings behind changing the Image:Beneath a Steel Sky.jpg to its current version?

Thanks -- elykyllek 12:51, Mar 22, 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for explaining, I appreciate it. -- elykyllek 12:00, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)

I took off your NPOV tag for the article. You need to make some claim as to it's absence of NPOV. The sign tag itself directs people to the TALK page and you have not made an effort to explain your reasoning- how do you expect others to agree/disagre?--Mikerussell 04:42, 20 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings! You have edited the Katie Holmes page in the past. I've completely reworked the article and have posted it on WP:PR in the hopes of advancing it to WP:FAC. I would be grateful for your comments at Wikipedia:Peer review/Katie Holmes/archive1. PedanticallySpeaking 18:57, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Revolution Software Freeware License

[edit]

Hello, Revolution Software Freeware License use in Beneath a Steel Sky and in Flight of the Amazon Queen in 2003 is more than a freeware, its realy a free software license [1]. So i just create Commons:Category:Beneath a Steel Sky and i move screenshot from frensh Wikipedia to Commons (see Commons:Image:Beneath a Steel Sky.png). What do you think about doing the same ?

Thanks a lot. fr:Utilisateur:Bayo 12:45, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

  • feel free to move my screenshot over to Commons (I don't exactly know how to do it)
  • I guess same applies to bass-beer (and even if not, I doubt Revolution will ever complain)
  • Flight of the Amazon Queen wasn't by Revolution but by IBI - feel free to move it over anyways :)

I move

I put your contribution in public domain, i think its better, the more important work in on the game, and the image is already under a Software Freeware License, but you can change. Thanks a lot. fr:Utilisateur:Bayo 13:02, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Kyrandia1ingame.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
