Bass

[edit]

Does anyone know if the bass is a Double bass or a Bass guitar? -Acjelen 00:05, 1 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I believe there is both on the album... NZHC 07:10, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wish I could write well about music (you should see how I dance about architecture, though) because this article has an sad lack of information in the introductory paragraph. -Acjelen 21:12, 3 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

And by information, I mean information on the album of an introductory or comprehensive manner. -Acjelen 21:13, 3 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Old Soul Song (For the New World Order)

[edit]

Some one added a comment to the New York section of the February 15, 2003 anti-war protest article about the single Old Soul Song (For the New World Order)which appears on this album cliaming it contains the lyrics;
"We walked the forty blocks to the middle/Of the place we heard that everything would be/And there were barricades to keep us off the street/But the crowd kept pushing forward/'til they swallowed the police/Yeah, they went wild/Yeah, they went wild..."
and that they are about the demonstration in NY. This sounds pluasable, however the poster provided no ref's. Can any one here confirm that these are the lyrics and that they relate to the event in question. Thankyou. --JK the unwise 15:51, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

When I saw Bright Eyes live that song was introduced as being about that protest if that counts for anything. --Cherry blossom tree 23:08, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've heard this several times from different places, so I'm assuming it's correct...I don't know if this article [1] counts as citation or whatever...someone helllp. (Hilarious, they called him Colin Oberst) NZHC 07:20, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Double Release Explanation

[edit]

This (and possibly the Digital Ash in a Digital Urn article) needs a paragraph about why there are two albums, and the concept behind it. --Evisruc 11:02, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chronology with Digital Ash...

[edit]

I am going to put the album Digital Ash in a Digital Urn as releasing at the same time as this album in the chronology, instead of after it. They came out the same day so I don't think you can put one before the other. --Andland 20:25, Feb 8, 2006

Should we mention Stephen Thomas Erlewine's unbelievibly negative review, or is that violating the NPOV?

Fair use rationale for Image:Brighteyes.imwideawakeitsmorning.albumcover.jpg

[edit]

Image:Brighteyes.imwideawakeitsmorning.albumcover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:39, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Misrepresented Village Voice Citation

[edit]

I have removed a quotation from the Critical Response section, stemming from a Village Voice review. The quote used in the article, taken from the citation is very clearly referring to the album Digital Ash In a Digital Urn, but was presented as being about I'm Wide Awake It's Morning. 71.164.220.52 (talk) 21:57, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
