A medical college of hers

Should that be colleague? Josh Cherry 15:46, 20 Jan 2005 (UTC)

While not explicitly mentioned in the article, Elizabeth Stern was a medical doctor, and thus a colleague of hers would be a medical one. JSC ltd 05:22, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not a surrogate?

[edit]

The article currently says that "[Mary Beth Whitehead] has been mistakenly called the surrogate mother, but she is a biological parent of Baby M." The term surrogacy seems to have two scopes: under one Whitehead would both be the surrogate and biological mother (because "surrogate" sometimes refers to all mothers who carried a child intended for it to be raised by another from conception), and in the other not so, because she wasn't only a gestational carrier. Tag

[edit]

I've tagged one of the sources of this article for clarification. The paragraph discusses an article in the Daily Mail on Sunday and uses quotes from that article. However, the citation given is for a private legal website. While the website itself may well be reliable, a source for the original source would be preferable. How does this reference know for certain that Melissa Stern allowed an adult adoption? I cannot find a real reference for that anywhere. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.142.130.24 (talk) 14:26, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
