Nice page! I couldn't believe Northrop Frye was forgotten, though. It's ironic that (so far) he falls in alphabetically next to Foucault ;) --JECompton 00:06, 21 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I kick myself for forgetting Dialectic of Enlightenment.

Is the Derrida essay I had there collected in the book you added? If not, I really think it should go on - it's arguably the most important essay of the 20th century and all. Snowspinner 20:52, 22 Apr 2004 (UTC)

  • Yeah it is. It's chapter 10 of l'écriture et la différence (Writing and Difference). Pteron 05:18, 23 Apr 2004 (UTC)
    • Ok, cool. Just wanted to make sure. Snowspinner 05:24, 23 Apr 2004 (UTC)

This absolutely shouldn't be merged. Most of the content is not individual articles, and making individual articles of the content is a massively low priority. Snowspinner 02:33, Jun 5, 2004 (UTC)

Clean-Up Notice

[edit]

This list includes a variety of primary texts from various fields of theory plus various secondary introductory texts. For some of the primary writers, it is not clear why these texts rather than others (e.g. Baudrillard)? In sort nothing to indicate reasons for inclusion or omission, hence the notice.
